Boasting a unique blend of urbanely elegant style and historic charm this location has 10 event spaces that can hold anywhere between 30-500 people. Located right in the heart of the city, the Lord Nelson overlooks the Public Gardens, which makes for a beautiful views as well as a picturesque photo venue right across the street. This venue has been a go-to for brides and grooms since opening its doors in 1928.
Comfort and relaxation comes first at this downtown venue. With 13 event spaces, that can accommodate up to 175 people, to choose from your guests will feel right at home from the moment they step through the doors.
The unique open-air courtyard is the perfect place to begin your happily ever after.
There’s no better view to say “I Do”! This newly renovated hotel offers one of Dartmouth’s finest views of Halifax Harbour. They have 6 banquet rooms that can hold anywhere from 60-300 guests.
8 – The Haliburton
This venue specializes in small weddings of 20-48 guests. Ceremony space includes a garden courtyard or cozy library, while receptions take place in your very own private room.
If getting married by the ocean is your dream come true, Oceanstone is the perfect venue for you. Their Chapel by the Sea makes for a picturesque background for your ceremony. Their signature wedding package utilizes their entire facilities, with the ceremony taking place at your preferred location, hors d’oeuvres & photos in the garden, dinner in the great room and lastly the lounge for all your dancing and late night fun!
This venue can accommodate up to 110 guest and 88 people overnight.
