Discover Halifax uses the term LGBT+ (along side the Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce) when referring to the community, pertaining collectively to people who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, Two-Spirit, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, along with people with gender expressions outside traditional norms, other queer people and their allies.
