Celebrate fall in Halifax at the Historic Properties courtyard from October 13-27 at the 2nd annual Harvest Moon Festival! The courtyard will be transformed into a country farm in the fall – make sure you sit on the giant cornucopia apple barrel and take a selfie!

Saturday, October 13: NOCTURNE 2018
From 6pm-12am on October 13, Halifax’s city-wide nighttime art show, Nocturne will be in the Historic Properties courtyard – come see it for yourselves!
Friday, October 19 – Sunday, October 21: THE GREAT PUMPKIN ART CONTEST
Enjoy the stunning display of Halloween pumpkins, elaborately carved and decorated by NSCAD and NSCC Culinary Arts students. Vote for your favorite from Friday through Sunday; the winner will receive $1,000 from Historic Properties and the runner up, $500 from Develop Nova Scotia!
Saturday, October 27: SAFE HALLOWEEN
On Saturday, October 27, Historic Properties will host Safe Halloween from 12pm-3pm.
The courtyard and market will be decorated with spooky touches and lots of photo-worthy stations, free games, and plenty of fun activities, including a digital photo booth, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin checkers, face painting, popcorn and cotton candy! Treats will be available throughout the Historic Properties mall while supplies last.
