Symphony Nova Scotia’s Music Director Holly Mathieson leads a program featuring Birds of Paradise II by Andrea Tarrodi, Violin Concerto and Symphony No. 5, both by Jean Sibelius. With guest violinist Kerson Leong. “I’ve always wanted to conduct Symphony No. 5, ” says Mathieson. “It is a vast, epic, life-affirming beauty on the grandest scale.”
