Monday, July 11, 2016 – 14:30 – David Boyle has received a Destination Halifax Ambassador Award for his contributions to this year’s Congregational Christian Churches in Canada (CCCC) Conference.
“David decided to take on the opportunity of organizing the conference to help promote and strengthen the church in Nova Scotia,” said Jeff Turner, New Business Development Manager, Sales, Destination Halifax. “He also felt it was a great opportunity for his colleagues and their families from across Canada to experience Nova Scotia with vacation visits before or after the conference.”
The CCCC Conference returns to the Atlantic region every four to five years. This year, it was held in Halifax at the Best Western Chocolate Lake Hotel Halifax from July 6 to July 8, 2016, attracting nearly 100 delegates.
“Halifax has been a fantastic city to host a conference. It’s a unique combination of deep cultural history, beautiful vistas and geography, diverse ethnic and Maritime cuisines, along with world-class sightseeing attractions – all wrapped up in an affordable package that’s delivered through the best hospitality Canada has to offer. This makes it easy to encourage conference attendance by making it a part of their vacation getaway for the year,” said Boyle. “Though not all of our conference feedback survey sheets have been returned yet, all indications are that this is one of the best conference experiences we’ve had to date!”
Congregational Christian Churches in Canada is an evangelical, Protestant, Christian denomination, headquartered in Brantford, Ontario. It is a member of the World Evangelical Congregational Fellowship.
