Right next to the Commons and the Halifax Public Gardens, only two blocks away from the downtown core. This location is close to everything and perfect for those who want to celebrate the wins together with other fans.
3 – Professional Soccer
We are the only Canadian professional sports team East of Montreal!
Many players have professional experience from around the world, ranging from Sweden to Peru to Italy and Spain and they are ready to put their strength and talents on display in the heart of Halifax.
4 – Local Talent
If you weren’t already aware, the Canadian Premier League is all about developing Canadian talent, and the Wanderers have exactly that!
On the roster there are thirteen Canadians and among those, three are from the East Coast! Scott Firth and Christian Oxner are representing Nova Scotia and Kouamé Ouattara is from Moncton, NB.
5 – Head Coach Stephen Hart
The Wanderers are lucky to have one of the most experienced coaches in the league. Coach Hart has managed the Canadian Men’s National team, leading the team to the semi-finals in the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Hailing from Trinidad & Tobago, Hart also managed Trinidad & Tobago’s men’s side from 2013-2016. With that invaluable experience, it’s safe to say Hart’s leadership will be a huge asset to the Wanderers.
6 – Craft Corner and other Beverages
This is where you get local craft beer! Join Garrison Brewing, Wayfarers and a variety of other local suppliers. It is situated near Gate F and will keep you fueled during the exciting matches with all the flavours of East Coast beer!
Purchase our Wanderers Sparkling Wine – Nova 7 blonde in cans, No Boats On Sunday cider and an array of beers from National Partner, Moosehead.
7 – The Kitchen
If you promise to sing your heart out, wave a flag and come up with creative names for opposing strikers, this is the place for you. The Kitchen, will host an East Coast kitchen party, where the Wanderers loudest and most passionate fans will be sitting!
The Privateers are the Wanderers official supporters group, and will be the 12th man on the pitch for the Wanderers. The Kitchen will play a big role in the electric game day experience at the Grounds and is conveniently located right next to our Craft Corner.
8 – Unique Food Vendors
The food vendors at the Wanderers Grounds will provide Haligonians with many options. Fans will see favourite food options ranging from local vendors to your favourite Canadian brands with flavours from all over the world.
Wanderers fans will be able to enjoy the likes of Humble Pie, South American street food from Verano’s, Tony’s Pizza and Donair, Kettlecorn, Shawarma Stop, Thanos’ Waffles, Booster Juice and much more.
9 – Suite Options
On the field’s South and West Endlines, the Wanderers have unique suite options to take in the games from a different perspective.
Planning a summer bachelor or bachelorette weekend? Well this might be the ultimate experience for you! The suites host 8-16 people each and there is catering service available.
Keep in mind, the Wanderers will have Nova 7 on site as well to add to your suite experience!
